Reminder: Share Your Voice on the Future of Boise Schools by October 18

Dear Boise School District Community,

There’s still time to share your voice. Boise School District’s Scenarios & Concepts Survey closes October 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.

Boise School District is experiencing declining student enrollment, a challenge shared by communities locally and nationwide. With fewer students, more school space than we need and growing maintenance costs, the District is exploring options through its Long-Range Facilities Master Planning process, including the real possibility of consolidating and repurposing some schools.

No final decisions have been made. The scenarios and concepts are preliminary. Your feedback will help us understand community priorities and concerns, refine options and inform a future recommendation to the Board of Trustees.

Whether you have a student in Boise Schools or simply care about public education, we encourage you to participate. You do not need to have attended a community meeting to share your perspective.

Review the options and supporting information, then take the Scenarios & Concepts Survey before the October 18 deadline.

Our Schools. Our Future. Your Voice Matters.

Thank you for helping shape the future of Boise schools.
